Description

Built in 1996, the Petali Hotel is in our opinion one of the best accommodations on Sifnos. The hotel is located in the Pano Petali hilltop region of Apollonia about 250 metres (quite a few steps to negotiate) from the village centre. Commanding terrific views of the surrounding countryside and villages, the hotel is popular with walkers as many footpaths lead from Apollonia into the neighbouring hills.

This small, intimate hotel has just four small buildings containing 23 rooms. The 9 standard, air-conditioned bedrooms all have en suite facilities, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe-deposit box, hair dryer, internet access and balcony or terrace. A lounge area with sofa bed is added to the 6 superior rooms which is larger in the junior suites. The lounge area with 2 sofa beds in the 5 suites is separate from the bedroom. The one apartment is similar to the suites but has a separate kitchen. Hotel facilities include a swimming pool and jacuzzi with adjacent snack bar, a lounge area and an outdoor restaurant (operational July & August only). Buffet breakfast is included in the holiday cost.
