Overview
The contrasts between these islands are amazing. Fulfilling most holiday requirements presents no problem should one consider this grouping. A stereotypical island hopping enquiry that we receive on many occasions encompasses the need for relaxation but with the possibility to undertake some sightseeing combined with good access to restaurants/tavernas and beaches. Rhodes certainly covers the sightseeing remit, Symi & Karpathos possess that illusive blend of not too busy and not too quiet, whilst, Tilos, Chalki, Kastelorizo, and Kassos will sooth the jaded, world weary traveller. Patmos is steeped in Christian history whilst Lipsi is content to attract those seeking an escape from the rat race. Last but not least, Leros, an island at odds with its near neighbours by virtue of its lush landscape.
