Thankfully, Serifos is an island where tourist accommodation is most definitely thin on the ground. We say thankfully because, being such a small island, a large influx of tourists would destroy the very reason why the discerning Grecophile finds Serifos so attractive.

The Maistrali Hotel, on the edge of Livadi, is the epitome of a simple, family-run, small Greek island hotel. It has the position right on the seafront. It is within walking distance, 5 minutes max, of the tavernas and cafes and regardless of whether you have a room at the front (sea facing) or the back (Hora facing) the view from your balcony makes your evening aperitif extra special. 25 of the 26 rooms have shower, wc and balcony. The odd one out is a family room with 2 bedrooms, fridge, shower, wc and balcony. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a fridge, hair dryer, TV and safe box. Breakfast is served either in the designated breakfast room or on the sea facing terrace. Sea view rooms carry a supplement.

Built in 2006, the Nymfes Hotel is located in the Agia Marina part of Kamares, close to the village's sandy beach and just 300 metres or so from the nearest shops, cafes and tavernas.

The 9 bedrooms and 2 suites are all tastefully furnished and include a number of atmospheric touches courtesy of the hotel owner's talent as a ceramist. Air-conditioning, TV, mini bar, fridge, safe box, wall-mounted PC socket, shower/wc and balcony or terrace are standard to all accommodation units. All but one of the rooms faces the village and sea, the odd one out with view to the village and surrounding countryside.

The hotel's reception and small lounge opens onto a pleasant terrace which also serves as the buffet breakfast area. The swimming pool is adjacent to this part of the hotel, surrounded by easy chairs, umbrellas and loungers

Just 7 minutes walk from Psathi and 18 minutes walk from Chora, Kimolis is well placed for daily commuting on Kimolos!

The husband and wife owners Katerina and Petros have gone to great lengths in making Kimolis both welcoming and of high quality. This philosophy extends to all facets of their establishment, especially the accommodation, irrespective of whether one stays in one of the seven rooms on the ground floor or one of the two suites on the first floor. Likewise, the effort that goes into providing guests with a wonderful breakfast every day, including up to 17 different items many of which are home made including omelettes, adds to that sense of personal care. With the exception of one room which has twin beds, all other rooms have a double bed. Four of these can accommodate a third person on a sofa bed.The “Kimolis” and “Arzentiera” suites add a separate living/dining room with kitchen and sofa beds to accommodate 2 additional persons.

All nine accommodation units are air-conditioned and include satellite LCD TV, mini bar/fridge, hairdryer, slippers, tea & coffee making facilities and balcony or terrace with views over Psathi bay.

Situated in a quiet location, only a thirteen minutes walk to Adamas town and 5 minutes to the beach, this superior, three star hotel has recently undergone a renovation which included a new swimming pool.

Rooms are spread over 7 buildings and consist of 35 standard rooms, 8 studios, 3 suites and 2 maisonettes. All accommodation units have satellite plasma TV, fridge, hairdryer, balcony or terrace, are well furnished and are air-conditioned. Studio accommodation is located by the pool area and adds a kitchenette area. There are two, one bedroom suites with separate lounge area where one sofa bed can accommodate 2 persons. The other suite adds a second bedroom (both with double bed). The ground and first floor of the two, split level maisonettes are connected by an internal, circular staircase. Both living room (with one sofa bed for 2 persons) and kitchen are on the ground floor with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

A breakfast room with pleasant garden terrace and pool bar are the hotel's public areas.
