Flight delays
Very occasionally flights are delayed and as a result you may be unable to catch a ferry or onward flight connection. We will make alternative arrangements for you but we regret that in this case it is rarely possible to recover the cost of pre-booked accommodation and travel that you are unable to take up. You will also be expected to pay the cost of any additional accommodation and travel expenses which are incurred as a result of flight delays. When the delay to a flight is caused by a technical problem with the aircraft, the airline will normally provide airport meals and necessary accommodation before your departure. Please note that some lo-cost carriers do not provide these services. If the delay is caused by strikes, bad weather or air traffic control congestion, the airline will seldom provide any compensation as the delay is outside their control.
Missed homeward connections
If it is absolutely essential for you to return from your holiday on time, or if you do not want to take the risk of travel delays due to flight or ferry cancellations or alterations to schedules, we recommend you spend your last night in a resort which has reliable connections or does not require a plane or ferry transfer. Otherwise, you should be prepared to bear the cost of a scheduled flight home if a cancelled or delayed ferry or domestic flight causes you to miss your homeward flight and we are unable to secure a standby seat on another flight. On no account will Greek Sun Holidays be liable for any additional costs nor will any compensation be payable. We would like to emphasise that such an event only occurs very rarely and we will provide you with every assistance in making alternative travel arrangements.

Now you can get away from the madding crowds, to relax in the comfort of luxury lounges, enjoy the ambience, to partake of complimentary drinks and snacks and be informed by attendant staff of your ongoing flight situation.
We are able to offer access to the executive lounges at the following airports from just £22 each person. All bookings must be made at the original time of booking your holiday. Executive lounge bookings made after we issue our original holiday confirmation may incur an administration charge.
